Make Your Own Liquid Diet Without Products From The Store

from:

It seems that in the world of diets there always seems to be something that you need to buy to make your diet work. What if there was a way to go on a healthy, nutritious liquid diet without products that cost a fortune? Believe it or not you may have just the items that you need in your fridge and cupboard right now, without even realizing it.

Basically a liquid diet without products from a diet supplement company involves ensuring that you get the proper amount of proteins, vitamins, nutrients and trace elements to keep your body operating at peak levels. If you are feeling tired, run down or exhausted you are likely not getting enough protein or are missing some important vitamins. There are several ways to increase protein intake in a liquid diet without products that are commercially made. Some fruit juices are higher in protein than others, so try to stick with grape juice, grapefruit juice, orange juice and prune juice as the base for your liquid diet without products from the drug store. Avoid using apple juice and pineapple juice as they have very low amounts of protein. In addition keep to unsweetened juices to avoid adding extra calories to your liquid diet.

To the high protein, unsweetened fruit juice in a blender, typically a mixture of grapefruit and orange, consider adding a quarter to a half a cup of natural, unsweetened and unflavored yogurt. This will add both proteins from milk products as well as calcium and vitamins from milk. Blend together and add ¼ to ½ cup of sliced fresh berries. A mixture of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries or strawberries is the best possible option, as these berries are rich in antioxidants.

To this mixture a half a banana or some mango, cantaloupe or other melon can be added for natural sweetness and additional vitamins. A few pieces of ice is then added to make a nice, cool and refreshing liquid diet without products that may add additional fats or carbohydrates. If you need a bit more sweetening consider using a package of Spenda to take the tartness away.

Finally remember that liquid diets without products such as whey powder, mineral and vitamin blends and additional nutritional supplements should not be the sole item consumed on the diet. A liquid diet without products that are specialized is great for snacks or the occasional meal replacement but should not be the only thing eaten. Try to keep a balanced perspective on weight loss, eating lots of whole grains, lean meats like poultry and fish, and filling up on fresh vegetables and fruits rather than commercially prepared foods and empty calories.
